The Happy Chef Thai Cooking School was established in 2007. We are now carrying on that great tradition of teaching people how to cook wonderful Thai dishes, 25 in all, made from ingredients purchased at the local Thai market daily. Each student will have their own work station, including chopping block, mortar and pestle, wok and individual gas cooking site. You will make 4 separate Thai dishes, including deserts, if you chose, each day you attend the school.
We provide the ingredients and the instruction, you experience the fun of making your own Thai dishes from market fresh ingredients. Each dish is very flavourful and presented beautifully. We have wonderful seating for you to sit and enjoy your meals after each dish you make.
For those people wanting a bit more of the experience, the full course is 5 days of 4 dishes each day with a certificate of completion given out on the 5th day. Each day you come, you will be able to pick which of the 25 dishes you would like to make that day. Classes can be scheduled for your convenience, anytime. We run the school at 11 am and then again at 1 pm everyday. We try to schedule so that all the classes are quite small so you can get the individual attention you deserve. Classes generally run about 2 hours.
